About DRT & DRAT

The Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) was established under the Recovery of Debts Due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 1993. It handles recovery applications by banks for debts exceeding ₹20 lakhs. The DRAT (Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal) hears appeals against DRT orders.
